- First AWF live event of 2014. A lively crowd was in attendance, and there was good show energy from start to finish.
- Show open saw Kieran “Duke” Burns introduce “Gladiator” Apollo. Apollo came out and refreshed people about his win of the OJ Cup, being the AWF Tag Champion, and that after beating TNT in the number 1 contenders bout, would beat Jay Law and become AWF Champion. TNT entered and claimed the only reason Apollo won the OJ Cup was because of Iron Ben Coles interfering in TNT’s bout, and that TNT should be Australasian Champion, but because of Coles getting him disqualified he wasn’t. TNT said Apollo better watch out and he may just end up in the hospital like Coles and he will win and once again be Australasian Champion. Apollo claimed it wasn’t going to happen, and when confronted by TNT escaped the ring and said he would have to wait till he was ready to get his hands on Apollo.
- Tyson Gibbs made an impressive AWF debut defeating Del Fuego with a cutter. Post match Tyson addressed the fans and said he is excited to be in AWF and his goal is to win the Australasian Championship.
- Robbie Barnes defeated Benny Factor in a competitive back and forth bout.
- Whiskey Sixx defeated Ali Abraham in both men’s first bout. Ali the local bad boy had big crowd support, but Whiskey had enough to overcome all, and got the win with a 450 splash. An impressive debut by both men and will be interesting to see how both fair in 2014.
- TNT attacked Apollo right from the get go taking the action to the outside. After a hard hitting bout TNT was posed on the top rope ready to possibly go for his “Crazyjack” spinning senton, but was distracted by Iron Ben Coles who appeared from the crowd, and to TNT’s shock took off his sling. Apollo was able to capitalise and snuck in and powerbombed TNT for the victory. TNT tried to attack Coles afterwoods but was too bewildered and security got him to the back.
- Mark Williamson came out and interrupted The Duke, gloating about taking out Blakestone at Psychoticslam, and when he doesn’t show up to defend the title here tonight they will just have to give it to Massive Q! Williamson then stated he was going after all belts, and would start the initial assault on the Tag Team Titles, and announced Seth Maxx would be his insurance policy. Draven and Maxx had a hard hitting bout, with Maxx scoring the win when Draven was distracted by Williamson, and Maxx scored with a Death Valley Driver.
- In ladies tag team action, after an earlier misfire, then fan favourite team of Mighty Mel and Rachel Rose imploded, as Rose attacked her partner Mel as the team seemingly had victory close, nailing her with the Rose Thorn, allowing Shazza to get the pin.
- Saxon Bruce gained his first AWF win defeating the Gold Coast’s Jake Nova with a hard lariat in the finale.
- The Commonwealth Championship was on the line in the main event as Blakestone appeared, and a heavy hitting battle unwound, with big strikes from the Champion, and Q scoring with a suplex to sway the tide back. After Blakestone regathered, he scored with a stunner strike combination, and Mark Williamson interfered again, leaving an opening for a Q chokeslam. That however wasn’t enough, as Blakestone recovered and came back to launch the 170 kg Q in the Slam of Silence and get the win. Seth Maxx came out afterwoods to save Williamson from a potential beating and the two shouted threats at Blakestone.
- AWF thanks all of the fans who came and supported the event.
