Show Notes
Show Notes:
- Show opened with an in ring showdown with Apollo and Draven. Williamson gloated and Draven said he would take both belts.
In the opener Whiskey SIxx scored with a swanton senton and John Anderson counted 3, but Kamikaze appeared to have his foot on the rope. Mikey Lord came out to contest the decision, and TNT entered to balance things out. The decision stood.
- Blakestone returned to form pinning Anubis.
- TNT & Mikey Lord went to a double count out. Post bout they further challenged with Kamikaze and Sixx also out there, and a tag match was set for the Titles later in the night.
- At intermission Massive Q entered the ring and screamed at fans and was demanding a bout. He even threw down announcer Kieran Burns, and security had to clear him out.
- Matt Bailey defeated the wild Shane Saw in his AWF debut with a launch into a vicious knee strike.
- In the Tag Title bout after a fast start from both teams, Mikey Lord suffered an eye injury as things were heating up, leaving Kamikaze to the mercy of TNT and Whiskey for them to keep the tag titles.
- The Main Event was much anticipated and heated. In a classic back and forth struggle in the closing minutes ref Tony Kebab was blindsided by Apollo for a short advantage. But a cake to the face backfired then Draven looked strong, but second ref John Anderson entered at the near pinfall, but Mark WIlliamson interfered with the belt causing a disqualification. A riled up Draven battled back and clamped Williamson in the Panther Crossface and then top rope headbutted his Lordship to send him packing to the crowds delight.
- An action packed live event for sure. AWF thanks it's awesome loyal supporters for coming out and getting behind the show.
